RivalHub was created to solve a very real problem faced by organizers of amateur and semi-professional tournaments: managing scores, lineups, and statistics is almost always done using spreadsheets or WhatsApp groups, which often result in delayed or lost information.
We’ve designed a native iOS and Android app that allows organizers to create a tournament, manage teams and players, and update scores and statistics in real time during the game. Each event receives a “LIVE” badge, and push notifications keep followers up to date without them having to open the app.
The app’s key strength is public access: anyone who wants to follow a tournament doesn’t need to install anything—all they need is a link or an invitation code. We’ve also added a highlights section with photos and videos protected by a passkey, shareable only with participants, and an e-commerce module for purchasing sports merchandise related to the tournament’s brands. The app is available in 7 languages to support international sports communities.
In addition to developing the app, we designed RivalHub’s brand identity—including the name, logo, and color palette—all crafted to convey energy and immediacy, the same values as the product itself. We then supported the launch with a dedicated social media strategy, managing the brand’s channels with a content calendar designed to reach tournament organizers and sports communities.
