Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your browser, where they are stored and then sent back to those same websites on your next visit. There are also other technologies with a similar function—such as the browser’s localStorage—which are not technically cookies but which, if used to recognize a user over time, are treated as cookies for the purposes of applicable law (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, which implements the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, and the Guidelines on Cookies and Other Tracking Tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on June 10, 2021). On this page, when we refer to “cookies,” we mean both categories.
2. Data Controller
Omniaweb S.r.l.s, VAT No. 09553001216, with registered office at Vico Bagnara, 4 — 80135 Naples — info@omniamarketing.it.
3. What We DO NOT Do
Before going into detail, a clear disclaimer: this site does not use profiling cookies for advertising purposes and does not use third-party cookies for marketing purposes. It uses Google Analytics only in aggregate form and only with your consent, as described in section 6. There is no cookie wall: you can browse and use all the main features of the site even if you opt out of all optional tracking.
4. Necessary technical cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are essential for the website to function or to provide a service that has been explicitly requested, and do not require prior consent (Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| omnia_cookie_consent | Saves the choice made in the cookie banner (accepted/rejected) to localStorage so that you are not asked again on every visit. | Until manually deleted |
| Restricted Area Session | Authentication cookie set only for staff accessing the administrative area (/admin). Does not apply to visitors to the public site. | Session duration |
5. Anonymous personalization (requires consent)
If you accept in the initial banner, the site stores the following information on your device using localStorage:
| Name | Content | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| omnia_visitor_profile | A randomly generated anonymous identifier, the number of days you return to the site, and the categories of projects/services you visit or click on. | To tailor the text, the order of the content displayed, and the call-to-action buttons to what seems to interest you most. |
| omnia_visitor_name | The name you choose to provide in the welcome pop-up (optional). | Display site text addressing you by name. |
The anonymous identifier and the categories you visit (omnia_visitor_profile) remain only on your device; they are never transmitted to our servers. The name you provide in the welcome pop-up, however, is also saved in our database—along with the date, the anonymous identifier alone (never your email address or other identifying information), the approximate city inferred from your connection (we never save your IP address), and a level of interest/engagement calculated based on the pages you visit—so we can track how many people have provided their names and prioritize those who show the most interest when we respond. Under no circumstances is this information cross-referenced with other data or shared with third parties. If you refuse consent, or if you do not provide it, none of this information is created or stored, and the site displays the same default content to all visitors. You can delete both the data on your device and the data stored on the server at any time from the Cookie Preferences section below.
6. Google Analytics (requires consent)
If you accept in the initial banner, the site uses Google Analytics 4, a statistical analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (for users in the European Union), to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used: how many people visit it, which pages they view, where they come from, and how much time they spend there. We do not use Google’s advertising features (Google Signals, remarketing), and IP addresses are anonymized before being stored.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes users in an aggregated and anonymized form for counting visitors and sessions. | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_* | Maintains the status of the current session for Google Analytics 4. | Up to 2 years |
The data collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google in accordance with its privacy policy and retention policies. If you refuse consent, or if you do not provide it, Google Analytics is never loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences section below, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on for your browser.
7. External Resources (Sources)
To display the fonts on this website, resources are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. Due to technical reasons related to the operation of the HTTP protocol, loading these resources involves transmitting the device’s IP address to the respective providers; however, no tracking cookies are set for profiling purposes.
8. Legal Basis
Essential technical cookies are processed based on the need to provide the requested service (Art. 122, para. 1, Privacy Code — no consent required). Anonymous personalization and Google Analytics are processed based on the user’s free, specific, and revocable consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a, GDPR), expressed via the initial banner and modifiable at any time as described in point 10.
9. How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser
10. Manage and Revoke Consent

In the event of substantial changes that introduce new purposes for data processing, you will be asked to provide your consent again.
12. Your Rights and Filing a Complaint with the Data Protection Authority
For a complete list of the rights recognized by the GDPR and how to exercise them, please see our Privacy Policy.
