Did you know that you can now enable Meta's advanced tracking with just one click?

In recent weeks, Meta has made the one-click setup for the Conversions API (CAPI, the “conversions API”) available to all advertisers: this tool tells Facebook and Instagram which visits actually resulted in sales. Until now, activating it almost always required a technician to connect it to your website; now, all you need to do is open Ads Manager—the dashboard where you manage your campaigns—and turn it on with a single click, without touching a single line of code.

The mechanism is easy to understand with an example: if a customer clicks on your ad and makes a purchase on your website, the Pixel alone (the tracking code installed on your pages) might not detect it—perhaps because the customer has blocked cookies, is using an ad blocker, or is browsing via Safari or an iPhone, where privacy rules block many tracking methods. The Conversions API sends the same information directly from your website’s or e-commerce platform’s server to Meta: a secondary route that reaches its destination even when the primary one is blocked.

For a small or medium-sized business investing its budget on Facebook and Instagram, this translates into one concrete benefit: Meta sees more actual sales linked to your campaigns, and the algorithm that decides who to show your ads to works with more reliable data instead of optimizing based on incomplete numbers. The same advertising spend can therefore yield better results, because the system is no longer excluding from its count a portion of the conversions that previously went untracked.

If you’re not sure whether the Conversions API is enabled on your account, or if you suspect that your campaign tracking is missing data, our team can review your company’s situation and set it up correctly in just a few minutes.
